Ci sarà una nuova repubblica. Dopo lo scioglimento del vecchio governo, e con esso della Prima Repubblica, l’Italia è cambiata nel 1994. Lo zitello Leo lo sa bene. Ha insistito molto perché Berlusconi diventasse primo ministro. Sa che non è facile ottenere il potere, ma mantenere il confine è impossibile. Allo stesso modo, sembra impossibile cambiare per il politico populista Pietro. Pur avendo un ufficio nel palazzo del Primo Ministro a Roma, non riesce ancora a rinunciare alle sue vecchie cattive abitudini. Non riesce a dimenticare l’unica donna che abbia mai amato. Ex star televisiva, ora politica e deputata, Veronica deve decidere chi sarà l’uomo della sua vita. Ha capito di non voler più essere una donna al braccio di uomini potenti. È l’inizio della sua brama di potere.

 

There will be a new republic.
After the dissolution of the old government, and with it the First Republic, Italy changed in 1994. Spinster Leo is well aware of this. He pushed hard to see Berlusconi become prime minister. He knows that it is not easy to gain power, but holding on to the border is the impossible. Similarly, it seems impossible for populist politician Pietro to change. Even though he has an office in the Prime Minister’s buildings in Rome, he still can’t reject his old bad habits. He can’t forget the only woman he ever loved. A former TV star that has now become a politician and a congresswoman, Veronica must decide who will be the man of her life.
