Saverio Lamanna, un giornalista diventato portavoce di un influente uomo politico al governo, viene licenziato dopo aver commesso un’imprudenza sul lavoro. Sconfitto sia emotivamente che professionalmente, Saverio decide di lasciare Roma e ritornare a Màkari, suo paese natale in Sicilia, nel trapanese: qui riscopre una grande passione rimasta sopita per anni, quella dello scrittore. Trascinato dalla curiosità che lo caratterizza, Saverio decide di improvvisarsi investigatore e di indagare sui vari casi del luogo, formando un improbabile trio assieme all’eccentrico e scanzonato amico Peppe Piccionello e alla determinata studentessa di architettura Suleima.

ENGLISH:

Saverio Lamanna, a journalist who has become the spokesman for an influential politician in government, is fired after committing an imprudence at work. Defeated both emotionally and professionally, Saverio decides to leave Rome and return to Màkari, his hometown in Sicily, in the Trapani area: here he rediscovers a great passion that has remained dormant for years, that of the writer. Dragged by the curiosity that characterizes him, Saverio decides to improvise as an investigator and investigate the various cases of the place, forming an unlikely trio together with his eccentric and carefree friend Peppe Piccionello and the determined architecture student Suleima.
