Alberto è il responsabile dell’ufficio postale di una piccola cittadina della Brianza e per accontentare sua moglie Silvia,
che vorrebbe trasferirsi a Milano, è disposto a tutto: anche a fingersi invalido per salire in graduatoria e ottenere un incarico nella grande metropoli.
Il suo trucco però viene scoperto, e per punizione Alberto si ritrova a essere trasferito in una piccola filiale in Campania.
Rassegnato al suo destino, Alberto parte da solo verso la sua nuova meta, aspettandosi soltanto degrado, strade invase dai rifiuti e colleghi scansafatiche.
Così, quando si ritrova davanti persone meravigliose e disponibili e un nuovo amico, Mattia, che tenta in ogni modo di farlo sentire a proprio agio,
ad Alberto sembra di vivere in un sogno. Come dirlo però a Silvia e agli amici che hanno iniziato a vederlo sotto una nuova luce?

Alberto is responsible for the post office of a small town in Brianza and to please his wife Silvia,
who wants to move to Milan, is willing to do anything: even pretending to be invalid to get on the list and get a job in the big city.
But his trick is discovered, and as a punishment, Alberto finds himself transferred to a small branch in Campania.
Resigned to his destiny, Alberto left alone towards his new destination, expecting only degradation, roads invaded by rubbish and slackers.
So, when he finds himself in front of wonderful and helpful people and a new friend, Mattia, who tries in every way to make him feel at ease,
Alberto seems to live in a dream. How to say it to Silvia and to the friends who started to see it in a new light?
