Il percorso artistico dei due comici Franco Franchi e Ciccio Ingrassia attraverso oltre trent’anni dello spettacolo italiano: gli esordi a Palermo, il loro incontro e l’ascesa, le colleborazioni con Modugno, Fulci, Pasolini e Monicelli. Nel ’72 Franco e Ciccio si separano per tornare insieme l’anno dopo e dedicarsi alla televisione negli anni Ottanta. Agli anni del declino appartiene Crema, cioccolata e… paprika, regalo del boss Michele Greco al figlio Giuseppe, qui attore e sceneggiatore. Tale episodio entrera’ nell’inchiesta per mafia in cui rimase coinvolto Franco; dalla visita dei carabinieri del 30 giugno 1989, non si riprendera’ pi.

The artistic journey of the two comedians Franco Franchi and Ciccio Ingrassia through over thirty years of Italian entertainment: their beginnings in Palermo, their meeting and rise, the collaborations with Modugno, Fulci, Pasolini and Monicelli. In ’72 Franco and Ciccio separated to get back together the following year and dedicate themselves to television in the 1980s. Crema, chocolate e… paprika, a gift from the boss Michele Greco to his son Giuseppe, here an actor and screenwriter, belongs to the years of decline. This episode will be part of the mafia investigation in which Franco was involved; since the visit of the Carabinieri on 30 June 1989, he will never recover.
