Tenore italiano, è passato alla musica popolare ed è diventato uno dei cantanti più famosi al mondo. Insieme agli spagnoli Plácido Domingo e José Carreras, era anche uno dei Tre Tenori ed era noto per i suoi concerti televisivi e le apparizioni sui media. Una delle più belle voci da tenore lirico di sempre, molto simile a Jussi Bjoerling. L’ampio repertorio di Pavarotti (registrazioni LIVE & Studio) comprendeva brani di Bel Canto e Verismo. Ha stretto collaborazioni già leggendarie con soprani altrettanto famosi come Sutherland, Freni e Caballé. Il suo timbro era unico così come la sua facilità nel colpire le note alte durante la sua prima serata.

You don’t have to enjoy opera to appreciate the sheer talent and passion of the voice of Luciano Pavarotti. An Italian tenor, he crossed over into popular music and became one of the world’s most famous vocal performers. Together with Spaniards Plácido Domingo and José Carreras, he was also one of The Three Tenors and was well known for his televised concerts and media appearances. Famous for the intensity and beauty of his tone, he performed in opera houses around the world and was thought by many to be one of the greatest singers of the era.

One of the most beautiful lyric tenor voices ever very much like Jussi Bjoerling. Pavarotti’s wide repertoire (LIVE & Studio recordings) included Bel Canto and Verismo works. He made already legendary partnerships with equally famous sopranos like Sutherland, Freni and Caballé. His timbre was unique as well as his ease to hit the high notes during his prime time.
