An evil witch needs Jakob, the good son of the shoemaker, to carry out her sinister plans. When Jakob refuses, the witch snatches seven years of his life and turns him into a deformed dwarf. Older than seven years not lived, Jakob returns home in the guise of a dwarf but nothing is the same as before. His father died of grief and his mother does not recognize him. The people of the city laugh at him and reject him. Jakob doesn’t know what to do … Then, one day, while he is running away from his persecutors, he saves the life of a goose.
