The story of Samson, from the miraculous birth of Mara, a barren woman, to vigorous youth, to physical decline, up to the final redemption, with the destruction of the temple where all the Philistines are gathered. At the center is the love for Delilah who, while loving him, must carry out the task entrusted to her: to capture Samson by inducing him to reveal the secret of his strength. And only at the end of his human life, blind and in chains, Samson will go in search of God, fulfilling his mission: to lead the people of Israel towards freedom against slavery and Philistine oppression.
