Nino, pizzaiolo napoletano, lascia Positano, abbandonando la fidanzata Maria, per andare a lavorare tre mesi al Nord, in un grande albergo di alta montagna. Durante il viaggio conosce prima una ragazza che decide di portare con sé, poi Romy, una ragazza italo-tedesca che si affeziona subito a Nino. Arrivato in albergo, Nino si scontra immediatamente con il direttore, un personaggio impacciato che dietro un’apparente durezza nasconde sentimenti che si commuovono al ritmo di una canzone napoletana. Nel frattempo, Nino cerca di contattare telefonicamente la fidanzata Maria, ma non riesce a trovarla, poiché Carlo, innamorato anche lui della stessa ragazza, non li fa mai incontrare e insinua nella mente di lei il cancro della gelosia, dicendole che ormai Nino l’ha dimenticata. Tornato a Positano, Nino cerca Maria e tenta inutilmente di spiegarle che non si è lasciato sedurre dalle lusinghe di Romy, ma la rottura è ormai inevitabile. Sarà la stessa Romy, in vacanza a Positano e ormai rassegnata a non entrare più nelle grazie del giovane pizzaiolo, a scoprire il gioco di Carlo e ad avvicinare i due ragazzi: Nino e Maria.

Nino, a Neapolitan pizza maker, leaves Positano leaving his girlfriend Maria, to go to work three months in the North in a large high mountain hotel. During the trip he first knows a nothingness that our pizza chef decides to carry with him, then Romy, an Italian-German girl who immediately sympathizes with Nino. Arriving at the hotel Nino immediately clashes with the director, an awkward character who behind a hardness of behavior hides feelings, moving to the notes of a Neapolitan song. Nino tries in the meantime to contact his girlfriend Maria by phone, but he can never find, as Carlo, also in love with the same girl, never makes them meet and insinuates into the mind of the same the cancer of jealousy, telling her that by now Nino has forgotten her. Returning to Positano, Nino searches for Maria and needlessly tries to explain to her that he had not succumbed to Romy’s flattery, but the break is now inevitable. It will be the same Romy, on holiday in Positano and now resigned to no longer enter into the graces of the young pizza maker, to discover the game of Carlo and to bring the two boys closer: Nino and Maria.
