Ad Astra” is the first all-original work by the young Italian vocal trio Il Volo, who have captivated the world. The new album “Ad Astra” marks the 15th anniversary of Il Volo’s formation, and is the first all-original album of their career. In addition to the majestic and beautiful harmonies that are their signature, the band’s sound has also evolved significantly. The album also features a danceable sound. Il Volo was formed in 2009, and their first album debuted at No. 10 on the U.S. album charts, as well as No. 1 on the Latin and classical charts. They received a standing ovation from an audience of about 30,000 people. They have toured twice in Japan, and in May 2019, between tours, and appear on popular music programs such as Music Station, Uta-Kon, and Untitled Music Concert. Tickets for the concert have also gone platinum.
