Una bellissima e dissacrante rievocazione della roma papalina ormai al suo tramonto, in cui si intrecciano le storie di un patrizio che non vuole accettare il declino del suo mondo, di un bersagliere portatore dei nuovi ideali e di un prete pronto a schierarsi al fianco dei vincitori.

Nella Roma sconvolta dalla conquistata dai bersaglieri, nella casa di un nobile principe si consuma la tragica vicenda di un tradimento che porterà alla morte accidentale del padrone di casa.

A beautiful and irreverent re-enactment of papal Rome by now at its sunset, in which the stories of a patrician who does not want to accept the decline of his world, of a bersagliere bearer of new ideals and of a priest ready to take sides with the winners intertwine .

In Rome devastated by the conquered by the Bersaglieri, in the house of a noble prince the tragic story of a betrayal takes place that will lead to the accidental death of the landlord.
