I COMPAGNI

The contemporary film, I compagni tells the story of the exploited textile factory workers in Turin, Italy at the turn of the century, where it was the beginning of their fight for more improved working conditions. Professor Sinigaglia (Marcello Mastroianni) is sent by, apparently, the Socialists to assist them in organising their strikes and to give form to their endless struggles.
