Un film drammatico, che fa (so)ridere. Un film dolce e lieve, aderente allo scenario che porta in scena. Uno scenario umano. Un corollario di protagonisti, di personaggi, di situazioni. Marco Risi, l’ultimo (vero) grande signore del cinema italiano, torna sul grande schermo spinto dalla voglia di raccontare “i vecchi”, pensando un po’ a papà Dino, che voleva girare una pellicola su La morte di Ivan Il’ič, di Tolstoj. E torna con un film sincero, Il punto di rugiada. Un film così sincero che, come la vita stessa, alterna diversi umori, e alterna diversi (macro) difetti, mantenendo un climax che si sposa con lo scenario circostante di un cosmo dove si incontrano (e si scontrano) diverse situazioni.

Carlo, un ragazzo viziato e sregolato, una notte provoca da ubriaco un grave incidente d’auto per il quale viene condannato a scontare un anno di lavori socialmente utili in una casa di riposo. Insieme a lui a Villa Bianca arriva anche Manuel, un giovane spacciatore colto in flagrante. Luisa, infermiera che lavora da anni nella struttura, guiderà i due ragazzi in un mondo senza età dove condivisione, conforto e accoglienza cambieranno per sempre il loro sguardo sul mondo e sulla vita.ni.

A dramatic film that makes you (smile) laugh. A sweet and light film, in keeping with the scenario it brings to the stage. A human scenario. A corollary of protagonists, characters, situations. Marco Risi, the last (true) great lord of Italian cinema, returns to the big screen driven by the desire to talk about “the old”, thinking a bit about his father Dino, who wanted to make a film about The Death of Ivan Ilyich , by Tolstoy. And he returns with a heartfelt film, The Dew Point. A film so sincere that, like life itself, it alternates different moods, and alternates different (macro) defects, maintaining a climax that fits with the surrounding scenario of a cosmos where different situations meet (and collide).

Carlo, a spoiled and unruly boy, one night drunkenly causes a serious car accident for which he is sentenced to serve a year of community service in a retirement home. Manuel, a young drug dealer caught red-handed, also arrives at Villa Bianca with him. Luisa, a nurse who has worked in the facility for years, will guide the two boys into an ageless world where sharing, comfort and hospitality will forever change their outlook on the world and on life.ni.
