Il film, diviso in quattro episodi, inizia con una giovane siciliana che decide di farsi suora piuttosto che sposare l’uomo scelto per lei dalla famiglia; il secondo vede una donna ricca che cerca di ingelosire il marito; il terzo un donnaiolo che seduce una bella donna; e l’ultimo racconta la storia di una donna divisa tra la cura del marito e l’amante…

The film’s theme is four episodes that offer the public a glimpse into the lives of rich and poor families in Italy in the 1960s.

Four episode movie where the first one sees a young Sicilian girl becoming a nun rather than marry the man that was chosen for her by her family; the second episode sees a rich woman trying to make her husband jealous, the third one sees a ladies man seduce a beautiful woman and the last episode is a story about a woman who divides her time looking after her husband and lover…..
