Gli amori, le incomprensioni, le passioni e le contraddizioni dei ricchi industriali lombardi Rengoni, una famiglia come tante, improvvisamente sconvolta dalla scomparsa del primogenito Edoardo in un incidente aereo. La tragedia innesca una serie di reazioni emotive e contingenti che cambieranno per sempre le vite dei quattro fratelli, del padre Ernesto, della madre Eleonora e soprattutto della moglie Chiara e dei figli. Pochi giorni dopo il lutto, i famigliari si accorgono infatti che Edoardo aveva falsificato i conti della fabbrica, che risulta essere in realtà profondamente indebitata con le banche e a rischio di fallimento. La crisi economica si abbatte così sull¿azienda e sulla famiglia. Cominciano a prevalere le cose non dette e i rapporti si fanno meno chiari. Contraddizioni, lacerazioni, distanze che sembravano inesistenti, vengono alla luce e sembrano prendere il sopravvento.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION:

The love, the misunderstandings, the passions and contradictions of the rich industrial family Rengoni from the Lombardy region, a family like many others, suddenly shocked by the death of the eldest son Edward in a plane crash. Tragedy triggers a series of emotional reactions and contingents that will forever change the lives of the four brothers, his father Ernesto, mother Eleanor and especially of Edward’s wife Chiara and their children. A few days after the mourning, the family members realise in fact that Edward had falsified the factory accounts, and discover they are really deeply in debt with the banks and at risk of failure. The economic crisis strikes on the company and family. Unsaid things begin to unveil and the relationships within the family memebers are less clear. Contradictions, lacerations, distances that seemed non-existent, come to light and seem to take over.
