This 1984 film, directed and produced by Stelvio Massi and featuring Mario Merola and Ida di Benedetto is a highly recommended comedy. It follows the story of Salvatore Di Donato, one of the most feared and respected ‘thugs’ of the District Health. Despite being married, Salvatore falls madly in love with Margaret, a proud and beautiful woman he meets during a pilgrimage to Our Lady of the Arc.
