ITALIAN DESCRIPTION:

A distanza di dieci anni, il capitano dei carabinieri Maria Guerra fa finalmente ritorno nella sua città d’origine, in Puglia.
Una scelta non certo dettata dalla carriera, lascia infatti Roma a causa della sua irrequieta figlia diciottenne, Luce, finita
in un giro di amicizie sbagliate.
Maria spera che l’impegno più limitato di un comando di provincia le lasci finalmente il giusto spazio per fare da madre sia a Luce che a Riccardo,
il figlio più piccolo. Ma a convincere la donna c’è anche una motivazione più profonda: dieci anni prima, in quella città, suo marito,
un magistrato del tribunale dei minori, ha perso la vita. Maria è convinta che non si sia trattato di un incidente, ma che la morte del
marito nasconda qualcosa e vuole andare fino in fondo. La promessa di una vita più tranquilla, però, verrà subito tradita.
Fin dal primo giorno di lavoro il capitano Guerra dovrà affrontare una brutale organizzazione criminale che potrebbe mettere in pericolo la vita dei suoi figli.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION:

Ten years later, the captain of the Carabinieri (Italian police) Maria Guerra finally returns to her hometown, in Puglia.
A choice certainly not dictated by her career, in fact she leaves Rome because of her restless eighteen-year-old daughter, Luce, who ended
up in a circle of wrong friendships. Maria hopes that the more limited commitment of a provincial command will finally leave her the right
space to be a mother both to Luce and to Riccardo, the youngest son. But to convince her more of her decision is also a deeper motivation:
ten years earlier, in that city, her husband, a magistrate of the juvenile court, lost his life. Maria is convinced that it was not an accident,
but that the death of her husband hides something and wants to go all the way. The promise of a quieter life, however, will soon be betrayed.
From the first day of work, Captain Guerra will have to face a brutal criminal organization that could endanger the lives of his children.
