Massimo Alberti believed in the Italian miracle and then came across the crisis: his bed & breakfast hits loses (and money)
and his elder sister Adriana, who has always been the father’s mouth, shares the parental opinion that Massimo is incapable of
doing anything really valid. Adriana’s husband, a true, unscrupulous arrivist, tries to take away his brother-in-law to
that half of the bed & breakfast that is the last paternal inheritance and that risks becoming the symbol of its definitive failure.
In particular, the tax authorities slaughter him, burying his entrepreneurial attitude. That’s when Massimo realizes that his neighbors,
a group of nerds as shrewd as they were, found the right solution for a tax-free business: renting the rooms of the
a convent in the face of a voluntary offer, on which the Inland Revenue can not retaliate because the convent falls under the
legal definition of “place of worship”. From there to invent a cult that transforms the bed & breakfast in a tax free place,
for Massimo the step is short.

Massimo Alberti ha creduto nel miracolo italiano e poi si è imbattuto nella crisi: il suo bed & breakfast perde colpi (e denari)
e la sorella maggiore Adriana, che è sempre stata la cocca di papà, condivide l’opinione genitoriale che Massimo sia incapace di
fare alcunché di realmente valido. Il marito di Adriana, vero arrivista senza scrupoli, cerca di portare via al cognato anche
quella metà del bed & breakfast che è l’ultima eredità paterna e che rischia di diventare il simbolo del suo definitivo fallimento.
In particolare il fisco lo massacra, affossando il suo piglio imprenditoriale. È allora che Massimo si rende conto che le sue vicine,
un gruppo di suorine tanto scaltre quanto pie, hanno trovato la soluzione giusta per un business esentasse: affittare le stanze del
convento a fronte di un’offerta volontaria, sulla quale l’Agenzia delle Entrate non può rivalersi perché il convento cade sotto la
definizione legale di “luogo di culto”. Da lì all’inventarsi un culto che trasformi il bed & breakfast in luogo tax free,
per Massimo il passo è breve.
