Un fumettista supera la gelosia verso lo psicanalista della moglie uccidendolo in una delle sue strisce. Quando il dottore viene trovato morto, la polizia avvia un’indagine e cerca prima il fumettista.

Mara, giovane giornalista, e Stefano, disegnatore di “cartoons”, vivono insieme ma da tempo in crisi nevrotica. Mara pensa di risolvere il suo problema facendosi curare dallo psicoanalista Prof. Maraldi, loro vicino di casa. Stefano, geloso di Maraldi, lo minaccia continuamente e arriva a riflettere la sua gelosia anche sui fumetti attraverso i quali, “uccide” Maraldi. Ma inaspettatamente Maraldi viene ucciso davvero e tutti i sospetti sono puntati su Stefano che e’ costretto a fuggire e a nascondersi. Aiutato da Germana, l’infermiera di Maraldi, Stefano non ha altra alternativa che scoprire il vero colpevole. Ma l’impresa non e’ certo facile e prima dell’imprevedibile epilogo Stefano va incontro ad incredibili peripezie fino a che, morto di paura, si trova di fronte il vero colpevole…

ENGLISH:

A cartoonist overcomes his jealousy towards his wife’s psychoanalyst by killing him in one of his strips. When the doctor is found dead, the police start an investigation and seek the cartoonist first.

Mara, a young journalist, and Stefano, a cartoonist, live together but have been in a neurotic crisis for some time. Mara plans to solve her problem by being treated by the psychoanalyst Prof. Maraldi, their neighbor. Stefano, jealous of Maraldi, constantly threatens him and comes to reflect his jealousy also on the comics through which he “kills” Maraldi. But unexpectedly Maraldi is really killed and all suspicions are aimed at Stefano who is forced to flee and hide. Helped by Germana, Maraldi’s nurse, Stefano has no alternative but to discover the real culprit. But the undertaking is certainly not easy and before the unpredictable epilogue Stefano undergoes incredible ups and downs until, dead of fear, he is faced with the real culprit …
