Gruppo rock italiano formatosi a Roma nel 2016. La band è composta dal cantante Damiano David, dal bassista Victoria De Angelis, dal chitarrista Thomas Raggi e dal batterista Ethan Torchio.

Esibindosi per le strade nei loro primi giorni, sono saliti alla ribalta dopo essere arrivati ​​​​secondi nell’undicesima stagione del talent show italiano X Factor nel 2017.

La loro svolta internazionale è avvenuta quando il quartetto ha vinto Eurovision Song Contest 2021 per l’Italia con il brano “Zitti e buoni”.

Dopo l’album di debutto Il ballo della vita, doppio disco di platino, il gruppo italiano più irriverente della scena presenta Teatro d’ira Vol.I, il primo volume di un nuovo progetto più ampio che si svilupperà nel corso dell’anno e che racconterà in tempo quasi reale gli sviluppi creativi della band insieme alle prossime importanti esperienze. Un percorso ambizioso e in continuo divenire, partito dai singoli Ventanni (disco di platino) e dall’inedito Zitti e buoni, che porteranno in gara nella categoria Campioni alla 71ª edizione del Festival di Sanremo. Scritto interamente dai Måneskin, il nuovo album è stato registrato in presa diretta, rimandando alle atmosfere analogiche dei bootleg anni 70, con l’idea e la voglia di ricreare la dimensione live vissuta dal gruppo nel loro primo lungo tour di 70 date fra Italia e Europa. Un disco tutto suonato, crudo, contemporaneo, capace di rappresentare lo stile e il sound della band. Il teatro, metafora in contrasto con l’ira del titolo, diventa lo scenario in cui questa prende forma. Non si tratta di una collera contro un bersaglio, ma di un’energia creativa che si ribella contro opprimenti stereotipi. Una catarsi che genera, grazie all’arte, una rinascita e un cambiamento in senso positivo. La nostra non è una rabbia nei confronti di qualcuno, ma un’ira che smuove, che crea le rivoluzioni raccontano i Måneskin – un’ira catartica rivolta alle oppressioni e agli oppressori, che porta a sfogarsi e a ribellarsi verso tutto ciò che ti fa sentire sbagliato e che, come risultato, porta a una rinascita e a un cambiamento. Abbiamo voluto collocare questa forza molto potente in un contesto, quello del teatro, che nell’immaginario comune viene percepito come elegante e pacato. Ci piace questa antitesi: un contrasto che vive nel momento in cui il sipario si apre e, al posto di uno spettacolo o di un balletto, ci si ritrova catapultati in questa esplosione di energia. Il teatro è una metafora a rappresentare l’arte, il luogo dove questo impulso potente genera qualcosa di artistico e positivo .

Italian rock band formed in Rome in 2016. The band are composed of vocalist Damiano David, bassist Victoria De Angelis, guitarist Thomas Raggi, and drummer Ethan Torchio.

Performing in the streets in their early days, they rose to prominence after finishing second in the eleventh season of the Italian talent show X Factor in 2017.

Their international breakthrough ensued when the foursome won the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 for Italy with the song “Zitti e buoni”.

After the debut album he presents Il ballo della vita, double platinum, the most irreverent Italian group of the Vol.I scene, the first volume of a new large project that will develop over the course of the year and that will tell in almost time real the creative developments of the band together with the important experiences. An ambitious and ever-evolving path, starting with the single Ventanni (platinum disc) and the unprecedented Zitti e buona, which will lead to the 71st edition of the Sanremo Festival in the Champions category. Written entirely by Måneskin, the new album was recorded live, referring to the analogue atmospheres of the 70s bootlegs, with the idea and the desire to recreate the live dimension experienced by the group in their long first tour of 70 dates between Italy and Europe. A fully played, raw, contemporary record, capable of representing the style and sound of the band. The theater, a metaphor in contrast with the anger of the title, becomes the scenario in which this takes shape. It is not a rage against a target, but a creative energy that rebels against oppressive stereotypes. A catharsis that generates, thanks to art, a rebirth and a positive change. Ours is not an anger towards someone, but an anger that stirs, that creates revolutions the Måneskins tell – a cathartic anger aimed at oppressions and oppressors, which leads to venting and rebelling against everything that makes you feel wrong and which, as a result, leads to a rebirth and change. We wanted to place this very powerful force in a context, that of the theater, which in the common imagination is perceived as elegant and calm. We like this antithesis: a contrast that lives when the curtain opens and, instead of a show or a ballet, we find ourselves catapulted into this explosion of energy. Theater is a metaphor to represent art, the place where this powerful impulse generates something artistic and positive.
