Carlo e Lorena sono due studenti liceali innamorati l’uno dell’altra. Carlo si presenta come un figlio di papà, ma in realtà è povero ed è aiutato e protetto da Franco e Ciccio, il maggiordomo e l’autista di una ricca signora e custodi della villa durante le sue assenze. Un loro compagno, Giorgio scopre che Carlo fa il cameriere e lo racconta agli amici; per verificare la notizia questi lo costringono ad organizzare una festa nella villa dove vive. La serata tuttavia riesce benissimo nonostante l’improvviso arrivo di Ivana, la padrona della villa, che si presenta come la sorella dopo essere stata sommariamente informata da Franco e Ciccio. Giorgio successivamente porta tutti i compagni all’albergo dove aveva visto Carlo e così tutti possono constatare la verità. Credendo che Lorena non gli voglia più bene, Carlo lascia gli studi e intreccia una relazione con la ricca Ivana che ben presto però si stanca del ragazzo e per liberarsi completamente lo denuncia accusandolo falsamente di averle rubato un prezioso anello. Lorena, sempre innamorata, ne compra uno uguale e lo consegna a Franco e Ciccio i quali, fingendo di averlo ritrovato scoprono che Ivana aveva mentito. I due perdono il posto, ma riescono a rimediare subito: il loro pupillo potrà riprendere gli studi e ritrovare l’amore di Lorena.

ENGLISH:

Carlo and Lorena are two high school students in love with each other. Carlo presents himself as a rich man’s boy, but in reality he’s poor and is supported and protected by Franco and Ciccio, the butler and chauffeur of a wealthy woman who also caretakers of the villa during his absences. One of their classmates, Giorgio, discovers that Carlo is a waiter and tells his friends; to verify the news, they force him to organize a party at the villa where he lives. The evening, however, goes very well despite the unexpected arrival of Ivana, the villa’s owner, who introduces herself as his sister after being summarily informed by Franco and Ciccio. Giorgio subsequently takes all his classmates to the hotel where he had seen Carlo, so everyone can see the truth. Believing that Lorena no longer loves him, Carlo drops out of school and begins a relationship with the wealthy Ivana, who soon tires of the boy and, to free herself completely, reports him, falsely accusing him of stealing her precious ring. Lorena, still in love, buys a similar one and gives it to Franco and Ciccio, who, pretending to have found it, discover that Ivana had lied. The two lose their jobs, but are able to quickly make amends: their ward can resume his studies and find Lorena’s love again.
