Babi ha diciotto anni, è una studentessa modello, una figlia perfetta, ma soprattutto una ragazza romantica che aspetta ancora il suo principe azzurro. Passa il suo tempo tra la scuola e gli amici, sempre insieme a Pallina, la sua amica del cuore. Step ha diciannove anni e passa le sue giornate con un gruppo di teppisti. Se n’è andato di casa perché, a quanto pare, è un tipo violento. Con il suo amico Pollo frequenta le corse di moto clandestine e si diverte ad invadere le case dei suoi coetanei ricchi, rubando e mettendo tutto a soqquadro… I due ragazzi, con i loro mondi così lontani, s’incontrano per caso, litigano, s’innamorano nell’arco di un anno che resterà indimenticabile non solo per loro, ma per tutti quelli che li circondano. Step e Babi vivono un rapporto tempestoso, ma anche la più bella storia d’amore che un adolescente possa sognare, tra corse, fughe avventurose in moto, trasgressioni e litigi. Quando si cresce, però, le strade talvolta si dividono.

From the novel by Federico Moccia, a true “cult” among the very young, an intense, romantic, hard, funny and dramatic story at the same time, magical as only adolescence manages to be. Babi is eighteen years old, she is a model student, a perfect daughter, but above all a romantic girl who is still waiting for her prince charming. He spends his time between school and friends, always with Pallina, his best friend. Step is nineteen years old and spends his days with a group of thugs. He left home because, apparently, he is a violent man. With his friend Pollo he frequents the races of clandestine motorcycles and has fun invading the houses of his rich peers, stealing and putting everything in a rut … The two boys, with their worlds so far away, meet by chance, they fight , fall in love within a year that will remain unforgettable not only for them, but for all those around them. Step and Babi live a stormy relationship, but also the most beautiful love story that an adolescent can dream of, between races, adventurous escapes in motion, transgressions and quarrels. When we grow up, however, the streets are sometimes divided.
